What’s good? My name’s Darren. I’m a Leo. I’m twenty four. I’ve got one brother, an identical twin: James. We call him J-Man. He’s in jail at the moment though riding a big bird. My mum died the day my brother got sentenced – she had a heart attack. That was four years ago. The worst thing is, my brother’s doing my time. He wasn’t even there when I stabbed that punk.
Ever since then, Dad’s just been there. I mean literally just been there, like he’s living in a constant daydream. Who can blame him? Losing a son and a wife in one blow. Me? I think it made me stronger. Yeh, I know it was all my fault, and I take all the blame. Oh yeh, how could I forget about my little sister, Sienna, she’s seventeen now, the apple of my eye. Everything I live for, basically I’m the rock of the family. If I don’t grind, my family don’t eat, it’s that simple.
